Behind the scenes on Office Screens
Office screens are used in the office to create a cost effective solution to dividing space. Desk screens and moveable floor screens also create privacy, reduce sounds and allow for flexible rooms within the office. Office desks are available in many colours, various shapes and materials to blend in to your office environment. You will have the option to buy standard office screens or those that are made to order which you may not be able to return once ordered and delivered.

Desk screens

Desk screens are great for separating areas and add an element of privacy between the workstations but at the same time allow for team interaction. Desk screens are fixed to the back or sides of the desks. You are advised to check with an office furniture specialist before buying to ensure that the size, shape and fittings of your chosen screens fit your desks. The screens also accommodate clever telecom and data cabling and can be fitted with tool rails for flat screens and telephones, which also saves desk space. Furthermore, desk screens are available in acrylic, wood and fabric and can be ordered in straight, waved and curved shapes to best fit in to your interior.

Moveable Screens & Partitions

Working in the open landscape office sometimes creates challenges, one of them being too much open space and not enough rooms. To a degree this problem can be effectively resolved by the use of moveable screens and partitions. With floor screens you can create rooms within a room and if fixed on castors these screens can be moved around and used as required. As with the desk screens you can choose between screens in various materials and fully or half glazed options – they can also be linked together to required size. On the market you will also find sound control panels and various exhibition screens.
